Our Facilities

Our company was founded in the historic colonial seaport of Newport, Rhode Island in 1992. We are a full service yacht yard, specializing in the restoration and maintenance of traditionally built and historic wooden yachts. We have restored numerous classic yachts over the years ranging in length from 30’- 104’. Our facilities include waterfront buildings in Portsmouth, Rhode Island at the Melville complex with inside and outside storage and access to a 160 ton travelift. In the spring of ‘19, we will be completing the construction of an offsite building for the storage and maintenance of classic yachts up to 50’.


In 2010, the McMillen’s traveled to London to receive on behalf of the company, the World Superyacht Award for the restoration of the 1926 Mathis-Trumpy Freedom, the flagship of our fractional program. This award is a coveted acknowledgement in the yachting industry.
